Studio Policies
TUITION DETAILS:
Tuition is based on how many classes you take (HOURS PER WEEK).
Tuition is an annual fee broken down into 10 monthly payments (September through and including June); regardless of how many weeks are in any given month, YOUR TUITION RATE IS ALWAYS THE SAME.
"TUITION" is the fee you pay for services rendered. (i.e., Dance classes that you or your child attends or may attend)
We offer multiple class discounts and discounts for siblings/family members.
Our rates are very reasonable and, in most cases, lower than our competitors.
A quality, professional dance education should be provided at a reasonable rate.
Tuition is non-refundable if you voluntarily miss classes. If you miss a class, you can make it up any time throughout this school year. Registration fees are NON-REFUNDABLE
Classes that we DO NOT CANCEL are not refundable once you have paid for them. Tuition is a month-to-month commitment. Tuition must be paid a month in advance. You are expected to participate in the classes you have paid for within the current month. Therefore, If you miss any classes or choose to drop or quit any classes, they are non-refundable or transferable. We will not credit your TTP account if you decide to drop courses or not attend your classes. Regardless of whether you have paid in advance for upcoming months, tuition is non-refundable if a dancer decides to quit at any point in time.
Classes canceled due to bad weather and unforeseen circumstances are welcome to be made up anytime this school year.
TROPHIES:
Annual Trophies are given out in a consecutive order. The achievement is based on how many years you have danced in a row. Dancers who take time off from dance class for any given duration and who do not participate in that year's recital will return to year 1 when they return.
Trophies will be handed out to students at the end of their final recital. If a dancer is performing in more than one show, the trophy will be given to out at the final show that they perform in.
COSTUME DETAILS:
Our costumes are of excellent quality but not outrageously expensive. We try to find the most reasonable costumes that are filled with detail and style. We only choose age-appropriate costumes that flatter everyone.
We offer individual fundraising, which is optional. However, you may participate if you choose. You receive back 40% of what you sell, and it comes from your already reasonable costume balance.
Your costumes come with everything, including tights.
Please feel free to call us or email us with any tuition/pricing questions. We will be happy to promptly give you a price quote.
Due to the time it takes to receive costumes for Picture Day, the Cut-off date for participating in the recital in any given year is Feb. 15th.
Costume deposits are taken starting in October. By the 7th of each month, $25 per dancer will be collected.
In December, we will show you pictures of the costumes we will order for you or your dancer. At that time, you may decide whether to participate in the recital. We will refund your $75 deposit if you choose not to participate.
Once you have signed the recital agreement stating that you want to participate in our recital and would like us to order costumes, we will show you your balance: the $75 deposit, any fundraising efforts, or other payments you may have made.
The final balance is due in two installments: the first is due by Jan. 7th, and the final payment is due by Feb. 7th.
Any balances not paid by Feb. 7th will result in a $25 late fee.
You are bound by the agreement you have signed. Even if you decide not to participate in the recital after signing the agreement, you are still responsible for paying off your balance. We will call you when your costumes are ready to come home in May.
DANCEWEAR :
We sell dance wear at our studio, but customers are not required to purchase from us. We recommend checking with us before purchasing elsewhere to ensure you get the correct shoes/dancewear for your child's level.
We do not allow shoes with Velcro, as the Velcro becomes less sticky over time.
Any dance wear or shoe purchases are non-refundable but are subject to credit if they are in NEW condition.
There are no refunds for dance wear purchases. All merchandise may be exchanged for dance wear and services or placed as a credit towards your TTP account.
RECITALS:
All Financial obligations and balances must be PAID IN FULL to perform in any upcoming performances or re-enroll for the next season. If balances are not paid in full, a dancer is not allowed to perform in shows and/or enroll again.
Show tickets are non-refundable or exchangeable
Dancers wishing to audition for a solo or duet must be enrolled in the core classes to be eligible (Ballet, Tap, & Jazz). Furthermore, they must be enrolled in the style for which they wish to audition.
Mrs Sheri determines audition eligibility within a specific level, and dancers will be notified at the end of December if they are eligible to audition in January.
We do our best to coordinate for siblings to be in the same recitals, but it is not a guarantee. If the recital schedule is completed before a dancer enrolls, it is unlikely that we can make changes. It depends greatly on when a dancer enrolls. That being said, we are very mindful of doing our best to make it happen.
If you have any conflicts near our recital dates, please make us aware of them asap, as the recital dates are already listed on our Calendar page. We will do our best to accommodate you if we have ample notice.
